Younger Member Forum

What is Younger Member Forum (YMF)?

J. Scott Petersen, EITASCE YMF is a professional organization geared towards helping recent college graduates or young civil engineers smoothly transition to licensed professionals by providing an exciting and fun platform for learning, networking, outreach, and career advancement. YMF also cultivates communication, organization, and time management skills and numerous other proficiencies required to become a successful project manager and engineer.

The San Bernardino and Riverside Counties Branch YMF has enthusiastic Board Members committed to provide a wide range of exciting events to encourage participation and creating a stronger link between college students, young engineers, and experienced professionals. Some of these events include the bi-annual PE Booths and Happy Hours, high school presentations through the Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) program, softball and paintball with the student chapters, technical tours, attendance of regional and national conferences, and much more.

By being involved in YMF you will make lifelong friendships, become familiar with the engineering community, learn about major projects and have tons of fun! Thank you for your continued support and commitment to ASCE.
